Ten days is what Morocco actually requires. Not to see everything — that's a different journey — but to stop rushing. To spend two nights in Fez instead of one. To have a morning free in Chefchaouen after the day-trippers leave. To watch the Saharan sunrise without immediately driving away from it.

The Complete Morocco adds Marrakech and the High Atlas to the Grand Morocco framework — two more days that give you the Red City and the mountain landscapes that surround it. Marrakech is the most visited city in Morocco; with Hassan, it's the best version of itself.

This is the journey for travelers with the time to do it properly. Every night in a curated riad, kasbah, or desert camp. Hassan guiding every day. Aymane designing every detail in advance.

Days 01–02

Tangier & Chefchaouen

Arrival in Tangier. Day 1: medina, Kasbah, Cap Spartel. Day 2: drive to Chefchaouen through the Rif. Full afternoon in the blue medina. Night inside the city.

Overnight: Night 1: Tangier medina riad. Night 2: Chefchaouen riad.

Days 03–04

Fez — Two Full Days

The extra day in Fez changes everything. Day 3: arrival and orientation, the Andalusian quarter. Day 4: the full medina — tanneries, Qarawiyyin, brass souk, Mellah, the lanes that most guides skip. Two days is what Fez deserves.

Overnight: 2 nights in a riad inside Fez el-Bali.

Day 05

Volubilis + Meknes

Roman ruins at Volubilis in the morning — the best-preserved in Morocco. Then Meknes, the imperial city of Moulay Ismail, with its monumental walls and gates.

Overnight: Night in Meknes or en route south.

Day 06

South Through the Atlas

The great Atlas crossing. Cedar forests, Berber villages, Todra Gorge. Hassan explains the landscape as it changes beneath you — green to ochre to red to gold as you descend toward the Saharan south.

Overnight: Kasbah guesthouse in the pre-Saharan valleys.

Days 07–08

The Sahara — Erg Chebbi

Two nights in the desert. Day 7: afternoon camel trek into the dunes, sunset, luxury camp under the stars. Day 8: sunrise, then the Draa Valley — 200km of date palms, ancient kasbahs, and Berber villages along the river.

Overnight: Night 7: luxury desert camp. Night 8: Draa Valley kasbah.

Day 09

Marrakech — The Red City

Drive from the south to Marrakech through the High Atlas via the Tizi n'Tichka pass at 2,260 metres — one of the great mountain roads in Africa. Arrival in Marrakech. Hassan shows you the medina that evening: Djemaa el-Fna square as it transforms from daytime market to nighttime festival.

Overnight: Night in Marrakech riad in the medina.

Day 10

Marrakech Full Day + Departure

The full Marrakech: Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, the souks, the Majorelle Garden. The city that everyone thinks they know, experienced without a group tour in sight. Departure from Marrakech Menara Airport.

Can we customize the itinerary?

Yes — this is the default framework. Every detail is adapted before you arrive based on your interests, pace preferences, and accommodation style. Some travelers want more time in specific cities; others want to add or swap destinations. Aymane designs around your trip, not a template.

How does payment work?

A 30% deposit by Wise or bank transfer to confirm the booking and allow Aymane to reserve accommodation. The balance in cash to Hassan on the first day. Aymane sends a full itemized quote before any deposit is requested.

What is the best time of year for this journey?

March–May and September–November are ideal — mild temperatures everywhere, including the Sahara. Summer (June–August) is very hot in the south. December–February can be cold in the Atlas and north but beautifully uncrowded. Aymane advises on seasonal timing when you inquire.

Is this suitable for families with children?

Yes — many of our best journeys have been with families. Hassan is experienced with children and knows how to adapt the pace and content to keep them engaged. Aymane adjusts the itinerary for family travel when designing your journey.
